Overview
Pet Insurance is the eighth instalment in the module 'Caring for Clients'. Choosing a pet insurance policy is ultimately the decision of the client. The practice and staff members within it cannot recommend a specific policy or company even if they are trained insurance advisors. Staff are allowed to discuss generic facts to help the client make the decision on which policy could be best for them. This presentation will compliment other course from Chunk Training including; Debt Control, and Communicating, Listening and Conversing.
Target Audience
This course has been designed for the client care team to be able to deliver un-bias and factually correct information on pet insurance to an inquiring client.
What You Will Learn
When clients buy pet insurance, it is likely they will initially be attracted to the cheapest policy without reading the small print, however this can lead to issues later down the line when a claim is required. Some clients will ask for guidance from the practice and this course will explain why it is important to have a good policy, where the legal limits are for discussing insurance and explain the generic terms which can be explained to the client to ensure they have the correct facts before making a purchase.
About The Provider
The course is delivered by Howard, a virtual teacher who will deliver the content originally written by Liz Watkins (MRCVS). Liz has worked in practice since qualifying from the University of Bristol in 1982 as so has a wealth of experience on pet insurance including the most up to date information.
